What is Ionamin?

Ionamin is a sympathomimetic amine, which is similar to an amphetamine. It is also known as an "anorectic" or "anorexigenic" drug. The drug stimulates the central nervous system (nerves and brain), which increases your heart rate and blood pressure and decreases your appetite.

How to take Ionamin?

Swallow whole. Do not break, crush, or chew before swallowing. Take your dose in the morning before breakfast or 2 hours after breakfast as directed by your doctor. Be sure you take your dose at least 10 to 14 hours before bedtime. Store this medicine at room temperature in a tightly-closed container, away from heat, light and moisture. If you miss a dose of this medicine, take it as soon as possible. If it is after noon, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular dosing schedule. Do not take 2 doses at a time if you have missed your dose. Follow the directions for using this medicine provided by your doctor.

Ionamin 15 and Ionamin 30

Ionamin is presented as either Ionamin "15' or Ionamin "30". The capsules include either 15mg or 30mg respectively of Phentermines as a resin complex. This compound releases slowly into your body, but is not a timed release per se.
